he spare part catalogues cover all the parts required to repair Renault vehicles.

DIALOGYS MPF determines the part number automatically on the basis of the technical specifications of the vehicle which you enter.

For each part number returned, if this is listed in the costs file, the program will show you the description, price and MSDT code, displayed in a Part window.

Access to spare part drawings

Access by technical context

As is the case with the other documents, access to a specific spare parts drawing is obtained via the Spare Parts menu (which appears when you click on the PR button in the top toolbar). If you are not already familiar with the structure of the menus in Dialogys, you should first refer to their general description, as this section deals only with the special features of the Spare Parts access menu.

Note: it is very likely that Dialogys will require information on the vehicle to access the correct drawing. If this is the case, Dialogys will ask questions which you must answer.

Search by keyword

In addition to conventional access (by technical context), the PR menu offers access via a search of the part description. This search is implemented on the parts descriptions as they appear in the Prices file. You should therefore adhere to the titles used to ensure that this search returns the correct results. In particular, you are advised to enter only the first few characters of the words you are looking for as the price file descriptions are often truncated.

For example: Search by keyword

The results are displayed in a very similar form to the menu for technical contexts, with an additional column to the right containing the list of part descriptions matching the search criteria for each technical context found. This window allows you to access the group of drawings containing the part you are looking for, on the condition that this part is fitted on your car (the analysis of application conditions is actually only carried out when you access the drawing - Dialogys may ask questions if the technical specifications required are not known).
